Since joining the Danish market in 2017, we have constructed projects worth over 2.8 GWp. This makes Denmark SUNOTECs largest market overall.
As one of our first country markets, France now marks our second-largest market with 840 MWp being installed since 2017.
The year 2024 sees us evolving from a construction partner into a turnkey service provider. Over the past year, more than 200 MWp capacity was installed.
This market emerged in 2023, with two projects totalling an installed capacity of 174 MWp.
Our second EPC project has just been confirmed here.
We are expanding our horizon to West Africa, taking on the role of turnkey provider. With 66 MWp, this plant will be the largest in the country.

A significant step forward: The acquisition of the Lazas Solar Park project from Danish Sun Energy ApS, a 400 MWp solar PV and 600 MWh battery storage co-located park in Latvia.
This milestone strengthens SUNOTEC’s strategic expansion into Northern Europe and underscores our commitment to building the future of clean, secure, and flexible energy systems.

A new chapter in Bulgaria’s energy transformation begins.
We are proud to announce the official launch of the Selanovtsi Hybrid Photovoltaic Power Plant, one of the country’s most advanced green energy projects, combining 59.8 MWp of solar capacity with a 107.3 MWh battery storage system.
Developed by Solaris Holding AD, a joint venture between SUNOTEC and the main shareholders of EUROHOLD Bulgaria AD, this plant will power over 22,000 households annually and offset more than 1 million tons of harmful emissions, all while strengthening grid stability and enabling smarter, more efficient energy use.

The Teenovator 7 Grand Final took place last weekend, and SUNOTEC was proud to be a Super Partner of this inspiring initiative!
This year, we supported Teenovator with a donation to help develop a proprietary information system that will improve communication and streamline operations.
In January, during Ideas Weekend, our on-site mentors helped guide student teams through the early phases of their projects. We also contributed a representative to the jury. Throughout the year, SUNOTEC mentors continued to support teams with one-on-one coaching.
On May 31, nearly 700 participants gathered to witness 77 startup pitches—each with just three minutes to impress investors and partners.
