Bulgaria is SUNOTEC’s home and the central hub for our operations in Southeastern Europe. With a leading position in both solar PV and battery energy storage, the country serves as the foundation of SUNOTEC’s growth and as a key driver in the region’s energy transition. Our Sofia headquarters brings together more than 350 employees across engineering, operations and leadership, with a new six-floor headquarters.

SUNOTEC Bulgaria brings together the technical and operational capabilities that have shaped SUNOTEC’s evolution from a construction specialist into a fully integrated energy infrastructure provider. With expertise spanning engineering, procurement, construction, electrical works, infrastructure and lifecycle management, the team enables SUNOTEC to maintain control over critical parts of the value chain and deliver projects from initial design through to operation. This integrated model also allows the Bulgarian team to support increasingly complex solar, BESS and energy infrastructure projects across international markets. As SUNOTEC continues to expand beyond traditional EPC, Bulgaria will remain a key platform for developing the capabilities, technologies and expertise needed to deliver the energy systems of the future.
